We operate under a strict privacy-first architecture: your health logs, sugar intake records, and habit data belong to you and remain stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud storage.

2. Data We Collect & Storage Model

We prioritize data minimization. The types of data processed through the application include:

• Local Health & Habit Data: Daily logged sugar intake, streak history, water logs, and habit goals are stored locally on your iOS device or synced securely via your personal Apple iCloud account. We do not store or transmit your daily health logs to external servers operated by us.
• Zero Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, health metrics, or usage logs to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

3. Camera Permission & Scanning Features

To utilize scanning features (including barcode scanning, food label scanning, optical recognition, and product item analysis), Sweet Off requests permission to access your iOS device's camera.

Camera feeds and captured scan frames are processed strictly on your local device for the sole purpose of detecting food products, nutrition labels, barcodes, and sugar content in real time. No video feeds, camera snapshots, or scanned images are recorded, stored, or transmitted to external servers operated by us.

4. Subscriptions & Billing Information

Sweet Off Pro subscriptions are purchased and managed entirely through the Apple App Store (In-App Purchases).

We do not collect, store, or process your credit card, debit card, or financial payment details directly. Apple handles all financial transactions and subscription management in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Analytics & Technical Diagnostics

To ensure application stability and performance, Sweet Off may process non-personally identifiable technical telemetry (e.g., app crash logs, device OS versions, and basic performance metrics). This technical information cannot be linked to your identity or personal health logs.

6. Your Rights & Data Control (GDPR / CCPA)

Under applicable privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to:

• Access & Export Data: View all your logged sugar data directly within the app interface.
• Data Deletion: Delete your logged data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing local data/iCloud storage in your iOS Settings.
• Opt-Out of Analytics: Disable diagnostic sharing via your iOS Privacy & Security settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Sweet Off is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain legal jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided personal data without parental consent, please contact us.
